Trust & Safety Specialist
Instawork is seeking a Trust & Safety Specialist to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This role is integral to maintaining the safety and integrity of our AI-powered labor marketplace, which connects businesses with skilled hourly professionals. As a key member of our Trust & Safety team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations into safety incidents, ensuring compliance with our Community Guidelines, and implementing policies that protect all platform stakeholders.
In this position, you will lead complex investigations, manage escalated support tickets, and communicate effectively with professionals and partners. Utilizing advanced tools such as natural language to SQL (vibe coding) and AI-driven automation, you will analyze data to identify fraud patterns and safety trends. Your role will also involve developing and refining operational workflows to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our Trust & Safety operations.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least three years of experience in Trust & Safety, Operations, or Compliance. Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance productivity, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential. Experience communicating with external stakeholders, such as clients or law enforcement, is also required.
The base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, with eligibility for equity in the form of stock options.
