Instawork is seeking a Growth Operations Associate to join our dynamic team in San Francisco, California. This role is pivotal in executing high-impact growth projects, working directly with Operations Leadership to drive new initiatives from inception to success. As a key player in our mission to create meaningful economic opportunities for skilled hourly professionals, you will contribute to scaling our AI-powered labor marketplace that connects businesses with a vast network of workers across various industries.

In this position, you will be responsible for building and implementing playbooks for new initiatives, engaging in activities such as cold-calling businesses, testing operational processes, and manually matching shifts to establish traction. Collaboration with Operations Leadership is essential to rapidly iterate on strategies and transform frontline insights into scalable, automated processes. The role demands extensive travel, as you will be expected to be on-site wherever new launches or strategic initiatives require your presence.

The ideal candidate possesses a "founder" mindset with a strong bias for action, demonstrating the ability to deliver results without waiting for permission or perfect data. You should thrive in high-pressure environments with fast-paced expectations and be comfortable with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and unstructured problem-solving. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Operations, Finance, Launch, Management Consulting, or high-growth startup environments is required, with a proven track record of managing complex, ground-level execution and achieving success.

Compensation for this role includes a base salary ranging from $80,000 to $120,000, along with eligibility for equity in the form of stock options.
