Business Development Representative - Instawork Robotics
Instawork is seeking a Business Development Representative to join our Robotics division in San Francisco, CA. This role is pivotal in connecting world-class robotics companies with our expansive labor marketplace, facilitating the creation of high-quality training datasets essential for advancing physical AI. Reporting directly to the CEO and Head of Robotics, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving partnerships that integrate Instawork's technology into diverse labor operations.
The primary responsibilities include identifying and securing global partners who can benefit from Instawork's technology to capture and structure robotic training data. This involves building an outbound pipeline through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach, managing the full partner acquisition cycle from initial contact to data collection. The role also requires daily collaboration with leadership to ensure swift progress and extensive global travel to partner sites to foster and maintain these partnerships.
Candidates should possess a "founder" mindset with a strong bias for action, demonstrating the ability to deliver results without waiting for direction. The ideal candidate thrives in high-pressure environments with fast-paced expectations and is comfortable navigating ambiguity and rapid iteration. A minimum of 2 years of experience in partnerships, business development, sales development, or inside sales is required, with a proven track record of owning deals beyond initial qualification.
The base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $130,000, with eligibility for equity in the form of stock options.
