Trading System Support Engineer
FalconX is seeking a Trading System Support Engineer to join our dynamic team dedicated to building and enhancing our core trading platforms. As a pioneering digital asset trading platform, FalconX provides institutional clients with seamless access to cryptocurrency markets, emphasizing reliability, scalability, and security. This role is integral to maintaining and advancing the infrastructure that supports our mission.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability, scalability, and security. Your responsibilities will include building and managing systems, infrastructure, and applications through automation, providing operational support to internal teams, and implementing rigorous security best practices. Additionally, you will monitor system health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure uninterrupted trading activities.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree with over 5 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or DevOps Engineer. A strong understanding of Linux system internals, including kernels, memory management, and network I/O optimization, is essential. Experience in front-office trading floor support, familiarity with financial instruments such as equities, FX, and cryptocurrencies, and proficiency with electronic trading platforms and OMS/EMS systems are highly desirable. Strong programming skills in languages like C, C++, Java, Python, or Go, along with experience in cloud infrastructure management and deployment automation tools, are also required.
