Technical Support Engineer
The Technical Support Engineer role at Betsson Group's Gaming department involves providing high-quality third-line technical support for the Gaming System to various teams, including Customer Support, Central Gaming, and partners and engineers across multiple locations. The Gaming Area focuses on online casino gameplay and game discovery across all brands and markets, aiming to offer the best gaming products in the industry and an exciting user experience on their sites.
Key responsibilities include learning the Gaming System and its underlying business model and processes, participating in regular configurations of the Gaming System, and communicating with providers and business units to clarify operational requirements and conditions. The role also involves influencing projects created using the latest technologies, such as C#,.NET Core,.NET Framework, JavaScript frameworks, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Docker, AWS, Kubernetes, MS SQL Server, Redis, and Couchbase.
Required qualifications include expertise in technical support, particularly in third-line support to resolve complex and challenging issues with the product. Candidates should have knowledge of backend engineering, especially with C#.NET, microservices, and cloud-based development, as well as frontend engineering skills with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and micro-frontend architecture. Experience working with QA engineers and an understanding of manual and automation testing, along with familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, are also essential.
