Backend .NET Software Engineer - Gaming
As a Software Engineer at Betsson Group, you will join the Gaming Area within Product Development, focusing on Game Play and Game Discovery across multiple brands and markets. This role is integral to enhancing our gaming platform, which supports over 25 online brands and is central to the company's strategy. You will collaborate with a passionate team dedicated to delivering an industry-leading, scalable, multi-brand platform used by hundreds of thousands of users worldwide.
In this position, your primary responsibilities will include designing and developing distributed backend services using C# Core, implementing and maintaining APIs, and working within a microservices architecture. You will participate in the journey towards containerization, increasing the scalability and quality of our systems. Additionally, you will engage in continuous evaluation of system design to accommodate new requirements and contribute to the development of exciting new features.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a backend developer with proficiency in C#,.NET Framework, Core. Familiarity Core Web API, SQL Server, and NoSQL databases is essential. Experience with messaging services within a microservices architecture, GitHub, and the GitFlow Workflow branching strategy is also required. An agile mindset and confidence in both written and spoken English are important for success in this role. Experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka, Docker containerization, and domain-driven design is advantageous.
