Technical Partnerships Lead
Instawork is seeking a Technical Partnerships Lead to manage relationships with partners in the robotics sector. This role is integral to Instawork's mission of creating economic opportunities for skilled hourly professionals and advancing AI-powered labor marketplaces. The successful candidate will collaborate with leading robotics labs to develop high-quality datasets for training robotics foundation models.
Key responsibilities include managing partnership accounts by working closely with researchers and business leaders to understand and influence their robot training data strategies. The role also involves identifying the unique directions of partners' research teams and driving the technical requirements needed to exceed their expectations. Additionally, the Technical Partnerships Lead will identify or create new opportunities to serve partners in robotics and physical AI by attending conferences, meet-ups, and other business development events. Coordinating with robotics leadership, data operations, quality assurance, and engineering teams to ensure exceptional data and service quality is also a critical aspect of the role.
The ideal candidate is a mid-career leader with at least five years of professional experience in partnerships, product management, strategy and planning, or account management, excluding internships. They should be comfortable discussing best practices with robotics researchers and negotiating timelines and deliverables with purchasing executives. A strong interest in robotics and physical AI, along with the ability to translate client needs into actionable plans, is essential. Problem-solving skills and a passion for building new systems are also important.
The base salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $240,000.
