Tax Associate

AlphaSense is seeking a Tax Associate to join its expanding tax team, focusing on complex domestic and international tax laws, including direct, indirect, and transfer pricing. This role offers significant exposure to corporate income tax accounting and compliance within a rapidly growing SaaS company specializing in AI-driven market intelligence. Reporting directly to the Senior Tax Manager, the position is remote or hybrid, with occasional travel to collaborate with colleagues in Tax, Accounting, and Finance.

Key responsibilities include preparing quarterly and annual global tax provisions and financial statement disclosures in accordance with ASC 740, supporting the completion of U.S. federal, state, and foreign income tax compliance, and performing associated SOX controls for tax accounting and reporting. The Tax Associate will also contribute to the company's transfer pricing process, participate in tax-related projects such as R&D tax credit studies and mergers and acquisitions, and collaborate with various business partners to ensure accurate tax reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a Master's Degree in Taxation and/or CPA preferred. They should have 1 to 3 years of corporate tax experience in public accounting firms (Big 4 preferred) and/or industry, possess technical knowledge of ASC 740 income tax accounting and U.S. income tax matters, and demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is required, and experience with NetSuite is preferred.

The base compensation range for this position is $89,000 to $127,000 USD. In addition to base salary, AlphaSense offers a performance-based bonus, equity opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits program.
