Account Manager, Financial Services
The Account Manager, Financial Services at AlphaSense is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with financial clients, including hedge funds, asset managers, investment banks, and private equity firms. This role serves as the primary point of contact for these clients, handling inbound queries, outbound engagement, relationship updates, and renewal discussions. The position is integral to the Customer Success team, which focuses on retaining customers, maximizing product usage, and identifying opportunities for business growth.
Key responsibilities include forecasting and maximizing retention rates across the assigned book of business, driving the adoption of AlphaSense solutions into other business units of existing clients to uncover new opportunities, and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals. The Account Manager will also identify revenue at risk to prevent churn, collaborate with Account Executives to identify growth opportunities, and cultivate relationships with users and key stakeholders to ensure AlphaSense is viewed as a business partner rather than a vendor.
The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, with a strong ability to develop instant rapport and demonstrated success in managing and growing relationships within Fortune 1000 clients and/or financial services companies. They should possess strong business acumen, commitment to effective processes and tactics, and exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills. A natural intellectual curiosity with the ability to learn and adapt quickly is also essential.
