Systems Engineer - Corp IT
The Systems Engineer role at Betsson Group involves collaborating with Systems and DevOps Engineers to build and support corporate services, enhancing technical operations best practices. This position requires a proactive approach to learning and applying modern technologies, ensuring services are professionally supported while maintaining cost efficiency. The Systems Engineer is expected to work independently with minimal supervision and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Key responsibilities include maintaining and developing corporate infrastructure to support Betsson's business requirements, managing documentation and knowledge sharing through online tools, and taking ownership of systems and service monitoring. The role also involves implementing continual improvements, providing technical expertise for operational procedures, contributing to the planning and implementation of maintenance and installation work, and administering both cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including services like Active Directory and Office 365. Additionally, the Systems Engineer will be the first point of contact for IT support, infrastructure projects, and vendor coordination, and will be responsible for maintaining all IT equipment in the office.
The ideal candidate should have experience with traditional on-premises infrastructure, including servers and storage components, and knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMWare or Hyper-V. Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365 services, SCCM, and MS SQL (or similar) is required. Hands-on experience managing Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Azure, and Entra ID (Azure AD) is also essential. Skills in Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions like Intune, SCCM, and Kandji, as well as knowledge of system and data backup and restore procedures, are important.
