Staff Product Design Engineer

The Staff Product Design Engineer will be responsible for driving mechanical design within the product development group. Key responsibilities include developing mechanical architectures from the ground up, taking technical ownership of systems or components, leading interactions with cross-functional teams such as industrial design and manufacturing partners, managing detailed design and validation processes, and anticipating future manufacturing challenges.
Candidates should possess a strong foundation in mechanical design principles and best practices, be independent and self-motivated with excellent communication skills, and have experience in developing small consumer products at scale. A deep understanding of the product development process, the ability to bridge small core teams with larger organizations, and hands-on prototyping capabilities are also essential.
The estimated base pay range for this role is $234,200 to $351,200 USD annually.
