Sr Manager - Middle Office
Arcesium LLC is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Middle Office team within the Financial Operations department. The Middle Office group is responsible for securities and transaction management across all asset classes, ensuring accurate booking of client transactions and addressing exceptions promptly. This role is pivotal in maintaining data integrity and supporting the firm's commitment to delivering precise and efficient financial services.
The Senior Manager will oversee daily transaction processing, security master management, reference data integrity, and asset servicing operations for multiple asset classes and clients. Key responsibilities include leading client onboarding from a Middle Office perspective, providing operational oversight, managing escalations, and setting performance goals for team members. The role also involves executing strategic initiatives, collaborating with investment managers and data vendors to resolve exceptions, and partnering with technology teams on platform enhancements and special projects.
Candidates should possess an MBA, MSc in Finance, CFA, or an equivalent qualification, along with over 10 years of experience in Middle Office, Corporate Actions, or Investment Operations, including at least 3-4 years in a managerial role. A strong understanding of multiple asset classes such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, and structured products is essential. Experience in security master/reference data management, corporate action processing, and proficiency in MS Office tools are required. Hands-on experience with OMS platforms, data vendors, operational workflow tools, and programming languages like Python or VBA is highly desirable.
