Software Developer, Business Systems & Analytics
Arevon is seeking a Software Developer to join our Business Systems & Analytics team in Scottsdale, Arizona. As an early member of our development team, you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing projects that support our mission to deliver innovative clean energy solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects within a collaborative and dynamic environment.
In this role, you will lead the development of two data-intensive, internally built applications: a real-time SCADA data monitoring platform and a real-time energy trading platform. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing product features based on business requirements, creating intuitive user interfaces, optimizing databases, maintaining cloud infrastructure, deploying predictive models in collaboration with data science teams, and upholding quality assurance processes and coding standards.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a Software Developer, with a strong emphasis on self-sufficient problem-solving and the ability to work autonomously within a small team. Proficiency in Python and JavaScript is required, along with experience in building complex single-page applications and backend systems processing large volumes of data. Familiarity with technologies such as React, Vite, Redux, AWS, Django REST framework, Docker, MongoDB, Snowflake, and TimescaleDB (Postgres) is highly desirable.
