Analyst, Procurement Contracts
The Analyst, Procurement Contracts is a key member of Arevon's Procurement Team, responsible for supporting the full contract lifecycle to safeguard the company's commercial interests. This role offers a detail-oriented professional the opportunity to develop foundational skills in contract management within the renewable energy sector. The Analyst will assist in negotiations, implement meticulous document management protocols, and facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders under the guidance of a Senior Contracts Manager.
Key responsibilities include assisting in the commercial negotiation of various agreements for photovoltaic and energy storage projects, such as Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), Operations and Maintenance (O&M), equipment supply, and master terms. The Analyst will draft routine contracts, amendments, and change orders, collaborate with legal, finance, and other internal departments to facilitate reviews and approvals, and support the development and maintenance of contract templates and forms. Additionally, the role involves executing and enforcing redline and version control protocols, maintaining document control for all project contracts, and generating clean and redlined versions of documents for review.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in a contracts, paralegal, or administrative role, preferably in the construction or renewables sector. A foundational understanding of the contract lifecycle and familiarity with common contract types and terminology used in the procurement of goods and services are essential. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, adaptability, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, collaborative team environment are also important. A willingness to travel (less than 10%) and work occasional overtime when necessary is expected.
