The Associate, Operations Engineering at Arevon is a pivotal role focused on ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of the company's renewable energy assets, including standalone photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage systems (BESS) across the United States. This position is integral to the Operations Engineering team, contributing to Arevon's mission of delivering affordable and secure homegrown energy solutions.

Key responsibilities include acting as the technical lead to identify and drive performance improvement opportunities through technical management of solar and BESS assets, conducting technical optimization analyses of asset portfolios, and developing methods for detecting, reporting, and analyzing performance issues. The role also involves maximizing asset performance through analytics and engineering, reviewing technical documents during project handovers, remotely diagnosing electrical faults in equipment such as inverters and transformers, and coordinating with field technicians for effective resolution. Additionally, the associate will develop maintenance strategies, manage third-party contractors, support spare parts management programs, and serve as a key technical resource for on-site technicians and equipment manufacturers.

Candidates must possess a minimum of four years of engineering experience in operations and maintenance of utility-scale solar and BESS systems, along with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline. Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to manage work orders and analyze equipment failure history is essential. A strong technical knowledge of power plant components, including inverters, trackers, transformers, and medium-voltage systems, is required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, be highly motivated and results-oriented, and have strong organizational and communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office productivity tools such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Power BI, Planner, and Lists is also necessary.
