Senior/Staff Product Designer
AlphaSense is seeking a Senior/Staff Product Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead strategic design initiatives, translating complex, data-rich problems into intuitive, high-quality user experiences. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and AI, to shape the future of our AI-native platform. This position offers the opportunity to influence the design direction of a leading market intelligence platform trusted by over 6,000 enterprise customers, including a majority of the S&P 500.
As a Senior/Staff Product Designer, your primary responsibilities will include driving strategic design initiatives, defining end-to-end workflows, and ensuring cohesive and scalable product experiences. You will bring clarity to ambiguity, balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints, and mentor other designers. Additionally, you will contribute to our design systems and patterns, raising the bar for craft and consistency across the product.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in interaction design and systems thinking. A Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Deep expertise in designing end-to-end customer workflows, proficiency in design and prototyping tools, and a strong understanding of user-centered design principles are essential. Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
