Senior Software Engineer / Web Developer (AEM)

The Senior Software Engineer / Web Developer (AEM) will be a key member of the Martech Engineering team at PlayStation Global, focusing on the development and enhancement of and other internal and consumer-facing web applications. This role involves collaborating with architects, developers, quality engineers, and DevOps to support and improve the digital platform, ensuring timely delivery of solutions and providing mentorship through code reviews and workshops.

Key responsibilities include developing, designing, testing, and deploying AEM Assets and Sites, as well as Adobe Marketing Cloud tools. The role requires sharing innovative development strategies, ensuring adherence to web best practices in areas such as user experience, SEO, A/B testing, and website performance optimization. Additionally, the position involves troubleshooting code issues, providing fixes, and maintaining existing project solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess a BS or MS degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent experience, along with 8-10 years of progressive experience in AEM Content Management and developer tools. Strong expertise in AEM building blocks, experience migrating AEM Sites and Assets to AEM as a Cloud Service, and proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ReactJS are essential. Familiarity with Java concepts, Adobe Experience Cloud implementations, and project automation technologies is also required.
