Senior Software Engineer, Integrations
AlphaSense is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Integrations team, a dynamic group operating as a "Startup Within A Startup." This team is dedicated to developing innovative connectors that enable clients to seamlessly ingest their enterprise data into the AlphaSense platform, enhancing decision-making capabilities for financial institutions and corporations. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and building scalable, secure, and reliable enterprise solutions that are central to our mission.
In this role, you will be responsible for writing high-quality, performant code and developing product expertise while contributing to the team's success. Your day-to-day activities will include clarifying requirements, implementing effective solutions, and collaborating with globally distributed, cross-functional teams. You will also stay abreast of and implement the latest engineering processes, DevOps practices, and trends, as well as mentor software engineers to improve their skills and reduce development iterations.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in backend development, with proficiency in Java or Python, or both. A working understanding of cloud service providers, preferably AWS, is essential, along with knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience in designing stateless and stateful microservices, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to communicate ideas clearly and incorporate feedback rapidly are also required. Hands-on experience in building and maintaining large-scale data integration systems and expertise in setting up MCPs for data integration are highly desirable.
AlphaSense offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $169,050 to $232,300 USD, along with equity opportunities and a generous benefits program.
