Senior Product Manager, Financial Data
AlphaSense is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the integration of new structured financial data into its market intelligence platform. This role is pivotal within the Financial Data content organization, which focuses on curating top-tier structured data from both proprietary and third-party sources. The team is dedicated to enhancing the platform's capabilities, providing clients with unparalleled accuracy and flexibility in their investment analyses.
The Senior Product Manager will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from initial data analysis to launch. Responsibilities include structuring data to support multiple workflows, defining requirements, supporting development and testing, and managing ongoing feedback for incremental enhancements. The role also involves acting as the primary liaison between complex user workflows and technical execution, translating sophisticated analytical needs into robust data architectures. Collaboration with platform peers across Web, Excel, and AI is essential to ensure seamless data delivery.
Candidates should possess over seven years of product management experience in the fintech, investment research, or financial services industry. A proven track record of managing complex products with multiple components is essential, along with the ability to make difficult trade-off decisions and prioritize development to deliver value under tight deadlines. Strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency with tools like Notion and Linear are required. Data fluency, including comfort with SQL and large language models (LLMs), is considered an asset. A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business is required, with an MBA or CFA designation preferred.
The base compensation for this role ranges from $150,000 to $210,000 USD annually. In addition to the base salary, the position offers a performance-based bonus, equity options, and a comprehensive benefits program. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise.
