Senior Product Manager, Advertising Products
Mozilla Ads is building privacy-forward advertising that funds an open, people-first internet. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager, Advertising Products (individual contributor) to help lead the development of Mozilla’s next generation advertising infrastructure. This infrastructure will power multiple performance ad placements across search and display - think real-time decisioning, partner integration, privacy-preserving personalization, and reliability at scale.
The Senior Product Manager will drive the vision, strategy, and execution for our privacy-preserving advertising products, including targeting, search suggestion monetization, and ad formats. Responsibilities include leading rapid hypothesis testing and experiment-led product development to improve ad relevance, user experience, and advertiser ROI, all while preserving user privacy. The role requires orchestrating execution across various teams such as Ads Engineering, Data Science, Firefox Platform, Design, Legal/Policy, Trust & Safety, Finance, and Go-To-Market, converting strategy into clear product requirements and cross-team plans.
Candidates should have 10+ years in product management or adjacent technical roles, including 5+ years building performance advertising products at meaningful scale. Experience in two-sided marketplaces, working proficiency with data and experimentation (SQL, dashboards, A/B testing design), and a track record of influencing across multiple teams without direct authority are essential. Exceptional communication skills and a strong understanding of privacy-preserving advertising are also required.
