The Firefox Software Test Engineering Student Worker position at Mozilla offers an opportunity to contribute to one of the world's largest open-source codebases—the Firefox Desktop Browser. As part of a geographically distributed team, you will collaborate with engineers dedicated to delivering a fast, secure, and user-friendly browser experience to hundreds of millions of users worldwide.

In this role, you will assist in setting up automation frameworks and writing scripts, including creating Page Object Models and support scripts for automated testing. Your responsibilities will also involve writing automated tests, conducting code reviews, supporting Continuous Integration efforts with Taskcluster, and aiding in the creation and maintenance of a test monitoring system. Additionally, you will help investigate and resolve technical challenges and contribute to QA Automation best practices.

Candidates should have experience with Python programming and familiarity with Selenium or similar WebDriver tools for test automation. A basic understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices is also required. The role demands a detail-oriented individual with a passion for quality and testing, the ability to learn quickly, and adaptability to new technologies and methodologies. Fluency in English and comfort working in an open, collaborative environment are essential.
