Head of Editorial + Platforms, Mozilla Ecosystem

Mozilla is seeking a Head of Editorial + Platforms to lead and unify its global editorial vision and storytelling across platforms, including the website, social channels, and flagship publications. This role involves acting as a strategic partner to communications, product, and policy leads across Mozilla’s portfolio, orchestrating a shared narrative about the organization's work and its impact on the future of AI and the internet.

Key responsibilities include defining and leading Mozilla’s global editorial strategy across digital channels, co-creating content frameworks with communications teams to ensure alignment, and establishing as the central platform for the organization's storytelling. The role also involves curating and deploying content across various formats, developing a cohesive strategy for Mozilla’s social platforms, and managing the annual State of Mozilla report.

The ideal candidate should possess exceptional editorial judgment, proven experience in content strategy and platform management, and strong cross-organizational leadership skills. A deep understanding of modern content ecosystems and the ability to translate complex technical and policy topics into compelling narratives for broad audiences are essential. Experience in building or evolving high-visibility editorial platforms, especially in technology, policy, or mission-driven organizations, is a plus.
