Senior Product Manager, Advertising Products
Mozilla is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of its next-generation advertising infrastructure, focusing on privacy-preserving solutions that fund an open, people-first internet. This role involves driving the vision, strategy, and execution of advertising products, including targeting, search suggestion monetization, and ad formats. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-centric ad experiences that meet strict latency, quality, and accessibility standards.
Key responsibilities include orchestrating execution across various teams such as Ads Engineering, Data Science, Firefox Platform, Design, Legal/Policy, Trust & Safety, Finance, and Go-To-Market. The role requires converting strategy into clear product requirements and cross-team plans, partnering with Business Development and Sales to shape deal structures, and launching new supply and demand integrations. Additionally, the Senior Product Manager will establish experimentation and measurement frameworks, set and track key performance indicators, and use privacy-preserving analytics to guide roadmap decisions.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in product management or related technical roles, with at least 5 years dedicated to building performance advertising products at scale. A proven track record of end-to-end ownership of technical products from concept to launch is essential. Experience in two-sided marketplaces, proficiency with data and experimentation tools, and the ability to influence across multiple teams without direct authority are also required. Exceptional written communication skills are necessary for creating product requirement documents and executive-level narratives.
Mozilla offers a comprehensive benefits package, including performance-based bonus plans, medical, dental, and vision coverage, generous retirement contributions with immediate vesting, quarterly wellness days, country-specific holidays plus a day off for birthdays, a one-time home office stipend, annual professional development budget, quarterly well-being stipend, considerable paid parental leave, and an employee referral bonus program.
Joining Mozilla means becoming part of a mission-driven organization committed to building an open and accessible internet. The company values diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, encouraging applications from individuals of all backgrounds. With a culture that challenges assumptions and prioritizes transparency, Mozilla provides opportunities for personal and professional growth while making a meaningful impact on the web.
