Senior People Operations Specialist

Sterlington PLLC is seeking a Senior People Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. This full-time, independent contractor role is based in Bogotá, Colombia, and requires alignment with US Eastern Time working hours. As a key member of our People Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our HR processes to support the firm's growth and operational excellence.

In this role, you will own and manage HR data and systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all platforms. Your responsibilities will include maintaining up-to-date policies, overseeing compliance as the firm expands, supporting benefits and payroll workflows, and collaborating closely with finance, data, and other teams to streamline operations. Additionally, you will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for automation and AI integration to improve efficiency.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. Proficiency in HR systems, particularly BambooHR, and experience with dashboarding tools like Power BI are advantageous. A solid understanding of HR compliance and operational risk, especially within the US context, is beneficial. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
