Senior People Operations Specialist

Sterlington PLLC is seeking a Senior People Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. This full-time, independent contractor role is based in Kingston, Jamaica, and requires alignment with US Eastern Time working hours. As a full-service law firm specializing in complex corporate, litigation, executive compensation, and private wealth matters, Sterlington offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a firm that values both economic and legal excellence.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing HR data and systems, ensuring compliance with policies, supporting benefits and payroll workflows, and collaborating closely with finance, data, and other teams. Your day-to-day tasks will include maintaining accurate people data, streamlining HR operations, and proactively addressing any issues that arise to ensure smooth processes.

The ideal candidate will possess a detail-oriented mindset, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Comfort with technology, curiosity about automation and AI, and the ability to work independently in a remote setup are essential. Experience with BambooHR and Power BI is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
