Senior Manager, Vendor Management
The Senior Manager, Vendor Management at Mineralys Therapeutics is responsible for executing outsourcing strategies for clinical development programs. This role ensures efficient vendor selection, contracting, and oversight to support the timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of clinical trials. The position requires cross-functional collaboration to optimize vendor relationships, manage budgets, and drive operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include leading RFI/RFP processes, vendor evaluations, and bid defense meetings to select various specialty vendors in collaboration with a cross-functional team. The role involves negotiating and managing MSAs, work orders, and change orders in collaboration with Legal, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and appropriate business terms. Additionally, the Senior Manager will drive standardization and process improvement across vendors to ensure consistency and operational efficiencies.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 6 years of experience in clinical outsourcing/vendor management within pharma/biotech or CRO is required. Proven experience in negotiating complex contracts and managing vendor relationships, along with knowledge of clinical trial operations, regulatory requirements, and financial management, is essential.
This position offers a salary range of $150,000 to $163,000, along with standard company benefits including medical, dental, vision, time off, and 401K. Participation in Mineralys incentive plans is contingent on the achievement of personal and company performance.
