National Sales Director
The National Sales Director (NSD) at Mineralys Therapeutics will lead the commercial organization across a large U.S. geography, supporting the company's first product launch. This role involves building and managing a high-performing team of Regional Sales Directors and their sales teams to ensure successful market entry and achievement of business objectives. Mineralys Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing treatments for hypertension and related conditions driven by dysregulated aldosterone.
Key responsibilities include leading launch planning and execution to meet sales and market share goals, translating national commercial strategies into actionable area business plans, and monitoring business performance to implement corrective actions as needed. The NSD will also recruit, onboard, and develop Regional Sales Directors, fostering a high-performance culture through regular coaching and talent assessments. Additionally, the role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Market Access, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Training, Operations, Compliance, and HR to support launch readiness and sustained execution.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree, with an advanced degree preferred, and have over 12 years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience, including more than 5 years in field sales leadership roles. Prior launch experience is required, with a preference for first-launch or emerging biotech experience. Experience in cardiovascular, nephrology, hypertension, or related specialty markets is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong coaching, talent assessment, and leadership development skills, along with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
