Senior Internal Audit Manager
Teads is seeking a Senior Internal Audit Manager to lead SOX and internal audit projects, including annual scoping, risk assessments, and control design and evaluation. This role reports directly to the Director of Internal Controls and involves collaboration with key stakeholders across Finance, IT, Legal, Sales, and R&D. The ideal candidate will thrive in the fast-paced environment of a growing digital organization.
Key responsibilities include overseeing all phases of SOX compliance, such as the design, testing, documentation, and remediation of controls related to financial reporting. The role also involves liaising with external auditors and senior management to coordinate testing, address control deficiencies, and ensure timely remediation. Additionally, the manager will develop and maintain SOX documentation, prepare periodic status reports, and mentor junior team members or consultants supporting SOX and internal control projects.
Candidates should have 15 to 20 years of internal audit experience, preferably in a Big 4 public accounting firm or a public company. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field is required, along with a professional certification such as CPA, CA, CIA, CFE, CISA, or equivalent. Exceptional communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills are essential, as well as a deep understanding of internal control frameworks (COSO), GAAP, and risk-based auditing methodologies.
