Senior Internal Audit Manager
Teads is seeking a Senior Internal Audit Manager to lead and manage internal audit projects, including annual scoping, risk assessments, and control design and evaluation. This role reports directly to the Director of Internal Controls and is based in Ljubljana. Teads is a leading omnichannel advertising platform focused on driving outcomes for brand and performance advertisers across screens, with a global team of around 1,700 people in over 30 countries.
The Senior Internal Audit Manager will oversee all phases of SOX compliance, including the design, testing, documentation, and remediation of controls related to financial reporting. Responsibilities include collaborating with key stakeholders across various departments, liaising with external auditors and senior management, evaluating internal control deficiencies, developing and maintaining SOX documentation, preparing periodic status reports, and mentoring junior team members or consultants supporting SOX and internal control projects.
The ideal candidate will have 15 to 20 years of internal audit experience, preferably in a Big 4 public accounting firm or a public company. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field is required, along with a professional certification such as CPA, CA, CIA, CFE, CISA, or equivalent. Exceptional communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills are essential, as well as a deep understanding of internal control frameworks (COSO), GAAP, and risk-based auditing methodologies. Proven knowledge of IT systems and the ability to integrate technology considerations into SOX assessments are also important.
