Senior Data Scientist

Teads is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our AI department, a team of 50 professionals dedicated to advancing our omnichannel advertising platform. This role is pivotal in enhancing our predictive AI technologies that drive outcomes for brand and performance advertisers across screens. As part of a global team operating in over 30 countries, you'll contribute to a platform that reaches 2.2 billion users monthly and processes 100 billion events daily.

In this position, you will innovate at scale by staying at the forefront of AdTech research, focusing on CTR prediction, online learning regimes, and high-dimensional embeddings. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll bridge the gap between research and engineering, translating complex research findings into production-ready features. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire lifecycle of model development, from reviewing the latest scientific literature to implementing and monitoring model performance in a live environment.

The ideal candidate holds an advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in a quantitative field or possesses equivalent industry experience, with 4–5 years in applied research deploying machine learning algorithms into high-throughput online environments. Strong software engineering fundamentals are essential, as is the ability to critically evaluate scientific papers and effectively implement their core findings. Excellent communication skills are required to convey complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
