Senior Counsel
Tyson & Mendes LLP is seeking a seasoned Senior Counsel to join our Denver, Colorado office. The Senior Counsel will be responsible for developing compelling case themes, independently handling court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials, and collaborating with attorneys at all experience levels. Routine client communications and cultivating relationships with existing and future clients are essential aspects of this role. Additionally, the Senior Counsel will provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced attorneys.
Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor from an ABA-approved law school and hold an active bar license in the State of Colorado. A minimum of 8 years of solid litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense, is required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including all facets of discovery and trial, and exhibit proficiency in MS Suite applications. Strong independent thinking, outstanding communication skills, and a professional demeanor are essential.
The base salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $190,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Attorneys are eligible for an annual billable hours bonus starting at $10,000, with additional tiers aggregating at $7,500 each.
