Senior Counsel (Sexual Torts Defense)
Tyson & Mendes LLP is seeking an experienced Senior Trial Counsel to join their Complex Trial Teams, focusing on sexual torts defense litigation. This role involves leading the defense of clients facing high-exposure, reputation-critical cases, with the full support of a nationally recognized litigation firm known for its innovative approach and commitment to stopping Nuclear Verdicts®.
The Senior Counsel will handle complex sexual torts defense cases from inception through trial, serving as lead trial counsel representing institutions, businesses, and professionals. Responsibilities include developing and executing strategic defense approaches, providing counsel on risk management and compliance, and mentoring litigation teams to ensure excellence in trial preparation and execution.
Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor from an ABA-approved law school and hold an active California Bar license. A minimum of 8 years of solid litigation experience, particularly in litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation, is required. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including all facets of discovery and trial, and demonstrate exceptional case management and trial advocacy skills in high-pressure environments.
The position offers a base salary ranging from $160,000 to $200,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
