Senior Counsel
Tyson & Mendes LLP is seeking a Senior Counsel to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles, California. The Senior Counsel will independently handle all aspects of litigation, including court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials. Responsibilities encompass developing compelling case themes, managing client communications, and providing leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys. Collaboration with team members at all levels is essential to ensure the delivery of outstanding legal services.
Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-approved law school and hold an active California Bar license. A minimum of 8 years of solid litigation experience, particularly in litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation, is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong time management skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are essential. Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills, along with a professional appearance and demeanor, are also necessary.
The base salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $190,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Attorneys are eligible for an annual billable hours bonus starting at $10,000, with additional tiers aggregating at $7,500 each.
