Senior Business Applications Security Engineer

AlphaSense is seeking a Senior Business Applications Security Engineer to join its Corporate Technology team. This role involves building a comprehensive security program for the company's diverse business application ecosystem, including platforms like Salesforce and Workday. The position is based in Bengaluru, India, and offers an opportunity to transform the organization's approach to application security.

The engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing role-based access controls, providing technical support for application access issues, and conducting requirements analysis for new applications. Additional duties include managing API integrations between business applications, identifying automation opportunities to streamline workflows, and ensuring data accuracy and compliance with security standards. Mentoring junior team members on best practices is also a key aspect of the role.

Candidates should have over eight years of experience in application security or related fields, with professional certifications such as CISSP considered a plus. Expertise in Okta, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365 is required, along with experience in SAML, OAuth protocols, and SCIM. Proficiency with automation platforms like Okta Workflow and strong communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential.
