Senior Backend Engineer / Data Engineer - Data Solutions Team

As a Senior Backend Engineer / Data Engineer on the Data Solutions Team at Teads, you will play a pivotal role in designing, scaling, and maintaining high-performance data pipelines that power our product ecosystem. Teads is a leading omnichannel advertising platform focused on driving outcomes for brand and performance advertisers across screens. The Data Solutions Team is responsible for leveraging Teads' publisher integrations and network scale to provide targeting solutions and measurable business outcomes.

In this role, you will architect and scale data pipelines responsible for building our Identity Graph, ensuring they can handle massive volumes with low latency. You will develop robust services and data processors using Scala and Go, manage event-driven streams using Kafka, and optimize our BigQuery environment to align with high-performance backend requirements. Implementing rigorous testing and monitoring will be essential to ensure the industrial-grade quality of our data flows.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Backend Engineering or Data Engineering, with a proven track record of deploying production-grade pipelines. Proficiency in Scala or Go, hands-on experience with Kafka, Redpanda, Aerospike, or similar big data components, and a deep understanding of SQL and cloud data warehouses like BigQuery are essential. An engineering mindset focused on performance, code quality, and system architecture, along with strong problem-solving abilities and collaborative skills, are also required.
