The Senior Associate, SCADA & Operations at Arevon will collaborate with the SCADA and Operations team to coordinate activities across multiple renewable energy projects. This role involves supporting the design and implementation of SCADA systems, ensuring they meet Arevon's standards, and working closely with vendors to deliver required outcomes. The position is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, and offers an opportunity to contribute to the advancement of utility-scale solar and energy storage initiatives.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining standardized SCADA and control requirements for photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. The role also entails performing technical due diligence on emerging energy storage technologies and plant control systems, managing site acceptance testing, and ensuring compliance with energy regulatory organizations such as CAISO, FERC, and NERC. Additionally, the Senior Associate will monitor real-time operations of solar and BESS plants to ensure optimal performance and regulatory adherence.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution. While 1-2 years of experience is preferred, exceptional entry-level candidates will be considered. Essential skills include a strong understanding of medium and high voltage electrical systems related to utility-scale solar and BESS, experience with control systems and communication infrastructures for automation, and the ability to comprehend and communicate complex technical information effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a commitment to safety principles are also required.
