Morgan & Morgan is seeking a dedicated Litigation Assistant to join our team in Orlando, Florida. As a Litigation Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing the firm's daily operations and supporting our legal team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for new graduates to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic legal environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing administrative duties such as scheduling hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics. You will maintain pleadings and discovery indexes, organize exhibits and legal documents, and implement administrative processes to enhance workflow efficiency. Additionally, you will collect and organize evidence for attorney review, draft and proofread legal documents, and research regulations and laws to assist in case preparation.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for those holding an associate's degree in paralegal studies, a paralegal certificate, or a bachelor's degree. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred. While prior experience as an administrative assistant, legal assistant, or paralegal is advantageous, we welcome applications from motivated new graduates eager to learn and grow in the field. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are essential.
