Seeking Civil Litigation Paralegal
Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal to join our Fort Lauderdale, Florida office. As a key member of our legal team, you will collaborate closely with attorneys to support all phases of the litigation process, contributing to our mission of advocating for consumer rights.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and complaints. Your duties will include e-filing documents in state and federal courts, conducting legal research, coordinating depositions, and organizing trial binders and exhibits. Additionally, you will manage communications with clients, courts, and opposing counsel, ensuring efficient case progression.
The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of litigation experience and have completed a nationally accredited paralegal program. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and work independently with minimal supervision is crucial for success in this position.
