Seeking Bodily Injury Claims Adjusters!
Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking a dedicated Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster to join our team in Miami, Florida. This role involves working closely with attorneys and clients to manage bodily injury claims effectively, ensuring that our clients receive the justice and compensation they deserve.
As a Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster, you will interact daily with clients, both existing and potential, through telephone and in-person meetings. Your responsibilities will include ordering medical records from providers, communicating with clients and providers throughout the treatment process, obtaining necessary documents to support injury or liability positions, and interacting with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances. Additionally, you will negotiate case settlements with insurance carriers and negotiate reductions of outstanding medical balances with providers. Maintaining organized case files, preparing comprehensive demands for submission to carriers, and managing case files from intake to closing under the direction of an attorney are also key aspects of this role.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree (preferred) and have prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager. At least two years of experience in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is preferred. Strong negotiating skills, the ability to be a team player, and proactive interaction with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers are essential. Candidates must be highly organized, capable of multitasking, and able to manage workloads with a positive attitude and minimal supervision. Strong writing and communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, with a typing speed of no less than 35 words per minute, are required.
