Sector Lead, E&I (EMEA), Channel & Customer Research

As the Sector Lead for Energy & Industrials (E&I) in the EMEA region at AlphaSense, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining primary research coverage across energy and industrial companies. This role is part of the Channel & Customer Research (CCR) team, which provides real-time insights into company performance and industry conditions through structured interviews with various market participants. AlphaSense is a leading market intelligence platform that leverages AI to deliver critical insights from a vast array of trusted content sources.

In this position, you will oversee the creation and execution of CCR projects, ensuring that questionnaires, expert sourcebases, and research outputs adhere to the company's standards for quality and consistency. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include designing and scaling primary research workflows, guiding a team of analysts in conducting structured channel checks, and maintaining a deep understanding of industry dynamics and key market debates within the EMEA region.

The ideal candidate will possess 5–8 years of experience in equity research, market intelligence, consulting, or a related analytical role, with a focus on the energy and industrial sectors. Strong domain knowledge of E&I industries, including familiarity with key companies, value chains, and investment debates, is essential. Additionally, experience in designing primary research frameworks and questionnaires, as well as the ability to work cross-functionally with research leadership and operations teams, is required.

AlphaSense offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $115,000 to $135,000, performance-based bonuses, equity options, and a comprehensive benefits program.
