Sales Development Senior Manager
The Sales Development Senior Manager at Wellhub will lead and mentor a team of 5–8 Business Development Representatives (BDRs) in Berlin, fostering a culture of growth and purpose. This role is pivotal in driving the company's mission to revolutionize workplace wellness by connecting employees worldwide to top-tier fitness, mindfulness, therapy, nutrition, and sleep partners through a unified subscription platform.
Key responsibilities include conducting live call-shadowing and in-depth reviews to enhance the team's communication skills, ensuring they effectively convey Wellhub's transformative value. The manager will oversee the recruitment and onboarding of new BDRs, aiming for active status within 30 days. Collaboration with marketing and sales teams is essential to position wellbeing as a business-critical priority for CHROs and CFOs, adapting messaging to align with market shifts. Additionally, the role involves managing inbound inquiry conversion rates and developing personalized outbound prospecting strategies.
Candidates should have over five years of sales experience, including at least 1–2 years as a Lead BDR or Front-line Manager. A passion for coaching and a proven ability to identify and address conversion funnel challenges are crucial. Experience managing SDR/BDR teams for challenger brands or non-commodity solutions is required, along with the ability to position products as mission-critical during budget-conscious periods. Familiarity with the HR space and fluency in the language of CHROs are also important.
