Retail Development Specialist
As a Retail Development Specialist at Wolt, you will play a pivotal role in expanding and enhancing our retail partnerships within the Astana region. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing a diverse portfolio of retail partners, identifying opportunities for growth, and implementing strategies to increase Gross Order Value (GOV). Your day-to-day activities will include collaborating closely with retail owners and store managers to understand their business needs, analyzing performance data to uncover insights, and working with cross-functional teams to execute marketing campaigns and operational improvements. Regular partner meetings and providing exceptional service will be key to nurturing and maintaining strong relationships.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of proven experience in account management, particularly within the retail, FMCG, or SMB sectors. A strong commercial acumen, with an understanding of P&Ls and revenue drivers, is essential. Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Looker or Power BI is required, along with exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills. Fluency in English and Russian is necessary, and knowledge of Kazakh is considered a plus.
