Tyson & Mendes, a nationally recognized law firm specializing in insurance defense litigation, is seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Receptionist to join our team in Seattle, WA. As the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff, you will play an important role in maintaining a welcoming and efficient office environment. This is a fully in-office position, ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced atmosphere and being an essential part of a legal team.

Key responsibilities include assisting with document management and file organization for both physical and electronic documents, preparing binders for attorneys, handling a multi-line telephone system, greeting clients and guests professionally, managing daily incoming and outgoing mail, and performing scanning and copying tasks. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing files for new matters and assisting attorneys and staff with in-office administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of office experience, preferably within a law firm setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat, is required. Strong organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. A professional appearance and demeanor, along with the ability to operate standard office equipment, are also necessary.

The compensation package includes an hourly pay range of $18 to $25, depending on experience, with overtime paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate as needed. Comprehensive benefits coverage is offered, including plans available at zero employee cost, a monthly technology reimbursement of $60, and a 401(k) program with matching contributions. Vacation time is accrued annually, and paid parental leave is provided at base pay.
