Receptionist
Morgan & Morgan is seeking a dedicated receptionist to join our Tavares, Florida office. As a key member of our team, the receptionist will work directly with attorneys, providing essential administrative support and coordinating new client engagements. This role is integral to our mission of serving clients effectively and upholding our commitment to excellence.
The receptionist will be responsible for greeting clients upon arrival, inquiring about their purpose of visit, and providing initial information regarding the firm's services and attorney availability. Additional duties include obtaining preliminary information from new clients, recording and forwarding this information to the appropriate legal staff, managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, overseeing office supplies and equipment, ensuring conference and shared spaces are prepared for meetings, and assisting attorneys, paralegals, and other staff with various clerical tasks as needed.
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, with entry-level experience in an office setting, preferably within a legal environment. Essential skills include knowledge of general office practices, the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines, effective oral and written communication, sound judgment and decision-making capabilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and ProDoc.
The position offers a hiring range of $15 per hour, with a standard work schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Full-time employees are eligible for an excellent benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
