Litigation Assistant
Morgan & Morgan is seeking a dedicated Litigation Assistant to join our Miami office. As a key member of our legal team, you will play a vital role in managing daily operations and supporting attorneys in delivering exceptional legal services to our clients.
In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics. Your duties will include maintaining pleadings and discovery indexes, organizing exhibits and legal documents, and implementing administrative processes to enhance workflow efficiency. Additionally, you will collect and organize evidence for attorney review, draft and proofread legal correspondence, and conduct research on regulations and laws to assist in case preparation.
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for those holding an associate's degree in paralegal studies, a paralegal certificate, or a bachelor's degree. A minimum of two years of experience as an administrative assistant in a law firm or corporate legal department is required. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
