Personal Injury Case Manager
Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking a dedicated Personal Injury Case Manager to join our Indianapolis, Indiana office. This role is integral to our mission of advocating for clients who have suffered personal injuries, ensuring they receive the justice and compensation they deserve. As part of our dynamic team, the Case Manager will work closely with attorneys and support staff to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
The Case Manager will be responsible for daily interactions with clients, both existing and potential, through telephone and in-person meetings. Key duties include ordering medical records from providers, communicating with clients and providers throughout the treatment process, and obtaining necessary documents to support injury and liability claims. The role also involves interacting with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances, maintaining organized case files, preparing comprehensive demand packages under attorney supervision, and managing cases from intake to closure.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree (preferred) and have prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager. A minimum of two years in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is strongly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a team, proactively engage with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers, and effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are essential. Typing speed should be no less than 35 words per minute. Please note that remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available for this position.
