Case Manager
Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to join our team in Sacramento, California. This role is integral to our mission of protecting the rights of individuals against powerful entities. The Case Manager will work closely with attorneys and clients to ensure efficient case progression and optimal outcomes.
The primary responsibilities include daily interactions with clients, both existing and potential, through telephone and in-person meetings. The Case Manager will be responsible for ordering medical records, communicating with clients and providers during treatment, and obtaining necessary documents to support injury and liability positions. Additionally, the role involves interacting with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances, maintaining organized case files, and preparing comprehensive demands for submission to carriers under attorney supervision.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree, with prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager or Prelitigation Paralegal being strongly preferred. At least two years of experience in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is also highly desirable. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workloads with minimal supervision, along with strong writing and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a typing speed of no less than 35 words per minute are required.
The position offers a salary range of $73,000 to $90,000 USD. Full-time employees are eligible for an excellent benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
