Quantitative Data Analyst
Betsson Group is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Quantitative Data Analyst to join their team in London. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining advanced statistical models that enhance the company's sports betting offerings. As a Quantitative Data Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include developing and refining models for predicting match outcomes, analyzing player performance, and designing robust risk management models. You will also contribute to the expansion of market offerings by creating models for derivatives and micro-markets, collaborate on modernizing modeling technologies, and work closely with data engineering teams to optimize data processes. Additionally, you will document methodologies and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess a PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in a STEM field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering. Proficiency in C# and Python is essential, along with strong knowledge of statistical and machine learning modeling techniques. Excellent communication skills are required to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences. A solid understanding of the sports betting industry, sports trading, and sports modeling is also necessary. Experience in building and deploying mathematical models, as well as proficiency in data retrieval and statistical analysis, are key qualifications.
