The Product Owner- Data & AI at Betsson Group is a pivotal role within the Data & AI Product Team, based at the Betsson Experience Centre in Ta’ Xbiex, Malta. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional development teams to deliver value-driven solutions across various business areas. The role encompasses responsibility for products spanning Data Ingestion, Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning, ensuring they deliver meaningful business impact. The Product Owner contributes to the Data & AI product vision and roadmap, acting as an ambassador for these products and clearly communicating their value across the organization.

Key responsibilities include prioritizing initiatives and backlog items based on business value and impact, translating ideas and opportunities into clear business requirements in close collaboration with development teams, and maintaining healthy, prioritized backlogs for Data & AI products. The role also involves leading refinement and sprint planning sessions with technical teams, promoting the value and adoption of Data & AI products across the organization, and ensuring delivered products meet agreed quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a Product Owner role, with previous exposure to Data, Analytics, AI, or Machine Learning products. Strong analytical and business analysis skills are essential, along with the ability to simplify complex problems. Proficiency in using Jira and Confluence for backlog management and documentation is required. The candidate should be able to prioritize effectively, balancing short-term delivery with long-term value, and possess strong communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders at different levels. Meticulousness, organization, reliability, and a strong focus on quality and delivery are also key attributes.
