Product Operations Intern
The Product Operations Intern at Instawork will collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to develop and prioritize growth experiments. This role involves working directly with the executive team to scale new initiatives and analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for business growth. The intern will also assist in helping blue-collar workers earn money and improve their lives through Instawork's platform. Additionally, the intern will engage with the latest AI tools and technologies, adapting to new technologies with an "Always Be Learning" attitude.
Key responsibilities include supporting product rollouts and adoption by executing outreach and rollout plans for new features. The intern will act as a key tester for new product capabilities, documenting findings, sharing user feedback with the product team, and identifying areas for improvement. Monitoring the performance of new features by tracking key metrics, analyzing user behavior, and summarizing insights for the team is also a crucial part of the role. Championing the user experience by gathering, organizing, and analyzing user feedback from various channels to inform the product roadmap is another important responsibility. The intern will also support the team by identifying opportunities to make processes more efficient, whether through better documentation, improved feedback loops, or simple automations.
Candidates should be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical or analytical field. Proficiency in SQL is a must, and experience with Python is a plus. The ideal candidate is excited about startups, possesses a "do what it takes" attitude, and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in sales or marketing is considered a plus.
For California-based applicants, the pay range for this position is $30 - $44 per hour. Compensation is determined by factors such as professional background, experience, and location, and final offer amounts may vary from the listed range.
